sound effects: below are examples we created for sound effects that represent some sounds in the movie such as a celery breaking could be used as bones breaking in movies.

Ambiance sounds:

Sound Bridges:

sound bridges is the use of sound used in films to connect two visuals that are different. 

in this scene of the matrix the part where the sound shifts from the loud energetic sounds in the party to the alarm, we can see the sound bridge that forms a smooth visual transformation from one location to another.

Dialogue 

dialogue is the form of verbal conversations between the characters in the scene. dialogue is not always necessary as there are other ways to successfully create a scene however it is a great and easy method to work with. dialogue can be replaced if it wasn't recorded to a high standard. this can be done through voice over recording/dubbing which is simply recording the voice/dialogue within the scene. 

Cutaway scene(premiere Pro):

cutaway scene are scenes that are used in films to interrupt a constant action. it can be used to show the surroundings of the scene.

For cutaway scenes we were instructed to get 10 sec recordings of things in our kitchen. we cropped and lengthened the clips into one 30 sec visual recording and uploaded them.
